I rarely leave reviews online for services, however, I wanted to finally leave a review for Dr. Hughes and her medical practice. For some context, my first appointment with Dr. Hughes was all the way back in 2021, so 5 years ago at this point. Dr. Hughes specifically has helped me with diagnosing and managing my PCOS symptoms, which has, by extension, also helped manage some of my symptoms related to my depression and anxiety. I also likely have endometriosis, but I have not pursued having that formally diagnosed through surgery. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank Dr. Hughes and her primary admin Christina for the kind care and service they have provided to me. During my first appointment with Dr. Hughes in 2021, I was extremely anxious for many reasons, and immensely relieved when she took my health concerns seriously. The medical system broadly, and particularly in Michigan, has very much negatively affected me since I first moved to Michigan in 2010. With countless other physicians in this state, I have felt continually dehumanized, dismissed, and ground down to the point where I genuinely started to wonder if I was mentally crazy. I am grateful to both Dr. Hughes and Christina her receptionist for the kindness and excellent service they provide. The practice is so different than our current health system methodology where you are given medication or a referal and send you on your way. Dr. Hughes goes to the root of the problem in order to eliminate it. I sleep better at night knowing they have my back.

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible care Dr. Hughes has provided to my husband and me. My husband, a Military Veteran and once very athletic , faced chronic stomach issues, migraines, fatigue, GERD, and numerous emergency room visits after his discharge. As a healthcare provider, I felt that we needed a holistic approach alongside his conventional medical care. Finding Dr. Hughes in 2023 has been a turning point. He no longer suffers from chronic migraines, requires Botox injections, or takes migraine medication. *Best decision I have ever made for my health. Dr Hughes is extremely knowledgeable, patient and compassionate. She spends time with you to totally transform your health specific to your unique self. I am now in the best health of my life and although I did the work needed and put into practice all of her suggestions, Dr Hughes guided and supported me throughout my journey. Dr Hughes changed my life! I was in a really dark place when I came to her, I had no energy, brain fog really bad and extreme bloating also problems with moving my waste. I had seen drs, had blood work done, only to be told everything was fine. Dr Hughes found that I had Hashimoto’s, I was anemic and I had so many other imbalances. I no longer feel horrible, in fact I feel like a whole new person! I am myself again! Thank you so much Dr Hughes!
